SLATE is a clayey schist with a very fine grain and very hard, which has the distinctive characteristic of being able to be divided into leaves of varying degrees of thinness along parallel planes.

It can be very intense black, lighter black, blue, green, violet or rust-coloured depending where it comes from, and can be used for both interior and exterior work.
