In 1970, Mr. Fournis, production manager of the Avessac extraction site, passed on his quarry to Ms. Tanguy and Coadou, who set up the MEN ARVOR company. More than a dozen of skilled quarrymen are currently working on the sandstone and schist quarries.

The red sandstone of Avessac, the purple schist of Saint-Just and the blue schist of Parsac have successfully expanded their popularity beyond their natural use : the Breton house. Today, they are used as paving, cladding, and landcaping items.
